Lily now walks freely around our apartment and says "daddy," "uh-oh," and "light."
She understands what light is rather well but she calls both Oli and me "daddy," which I will most happily accept for the time being. I feel pretty honored every time she points at me and says "daddy" because it means I stick out as something worth naming among the menagerie of things she encounters every day :)

We just missed her walking, too bad.
kcute, cute, cuter than cute! i love how she seems to be just barely in control of her body, true to that old cliche of babies resembling little drunkards. and that was quite a rough tumble. ouch!

We have a lot of experience with the toilet paper hijinx in our house. The last few incidents have involved piles of paper in the toilet, flushing of toilet, and subsequent overflowing of toilet. It hasn't happened in a while. But Simon watched this video with me, so I hope he doesn't get any ideas.
