We were away on our anniversary vacation on December 1, so the boys started it without us. Nobody read the instructions, I guess, if there are even instructions. Since we do our homemade calendar as a countdown, counting backwards from 25, they assumed the Lego calendar was the same way. Santa was therefore the first to come out of the box. Unfortunately the Legos will continue to get more boring as we get closer to the big day.
